y’all this game was fun ngl 9/10

Is the game locked to a 50 FPS cap ? It never went above 50 FPS for me. I'm on Linux if that matters.

My System:

Intel i5-12600K | 32GB DDR4-3200 CL16 | Gigabyte RX 7600 XT 16GB | Mesa 24.0.2-manjaro1.1 | Western Digital Black SN850 500GB | Manjaro | Mate 1.26.1 | Kernel 6.7.7-1-MANJARO

Yes, I had a bit of trouble optimizing the game, so I set the FPS Lock to 50 frames, which improved the performance of the game a bit, and I know that this solution is not ideal, so I will handle it better for future projects.

(+1)

it was a nice game but very short and i dont really understand the meaning of the ending lol

(+1)

I liked it!

(+1)

Funny game. Maybe i miss some explanation from character while walking into the forest and some story. But is enjoyable!

I did a video on my channel (Spanish). Hope you like it.

(+1)

This was pretty fun and entertaining. I'd tell more people to play it for sure.
(+1)

had to try out the game. For a first attempt game make. It isn’t bad. It’s highly appreciated if you drop by to take a look at the video!!

Great story, fun game to play

(+1)

Was quite good for your first game! Had the same issues with optimization as most, but it never crashed and I didn't run into any serious issues, just some lag. A good short story with a couple good scares!

Keep it up :)

thank you for playing my game, sorry for the bugs

very good game, despite the small bugs

thank you for playing my game, sorry for the bugs

Game is very unoptimized, but overall a decent effort. Streamed this live and made a video for it after:

sorry for the bad omptimalization, I will improve it in future games

game isn't optimized. my pc runs other games well but this game was lagging and freezing when i loaded in. also i don't like unnecessary jumpscares and that beginning jumpscare was lame and not needed to be there, plus i expected it.

sorry for the bad omptimalization, I will improve it in future games

i dont know much about game development so im not sure. i have a 1060 gtx, and the game is on a ssd. i lowered the graphics on low because it was lagging when i started, tho after sometime the game stopped lagging, so idk what to say about it

No, almost every game should run on these specs, it's just a bad optimization, I tried to optimize it, but the game still freezes in some moments

I kept running into a game breaking bug. Whenever the dog runs off i go to find him. When i do find him he has 2 tails and won't move after. So i can't progress the story. I ended up looking up on someone's channel to see what happens next. I did uninstall the game and install again. Ran into the same issue. Was enjoying this tho until that same glitch kept happening each time i retried the game.

engine kept crashing and lots of lag. other than that I liked the story I couldn't imagine having someone you don't know in your house stalking you... great game 8/10

Encountered a few bugs, but found a workaround so no problem. Game is good has a great potential, felt like an American movie where a group of friends go out of the town and encounter some scary stuff ;)

LOVED IT! I called the dog Nigel! the jumpscare really got me, I hope you lot enjoy the vid I love little horror games like this! thanks :)

This game was very cool.

I do have two complaints though,

1) I searched for a while in the woods looking for the dog, before finding it. There should be breadcrumbs of some sort, because its too dark to really see anything (like the dog barking in a certain direction, or something).

2) I had no idea what was gonna happen after the alarm clock, I happened to go back to the same door I went through, and it was an immediate end of game (didn't go through it the second time, and escaped, but it was still a little frustrating...) For this one, maybe again, a sound of something, like footsteps, or something to alert the player

It also was a little laggy, but over all it was still a neat little game :)

(+1)

Thanks hopefully my future games will be better

A little buggy but it did get me a few times!

This was an interesting game, I could very well see the F2F inspiration! I said my feedback at the end.
I did find the vibe put me on the edge of my seat a lot, and cute doggo :)
Here is my playthrough

The atmosphere was overwhelmingly scary and I was very surprised while playing the game.. This game is really fun and great Thank you for making this game

Not The Best game It Has Alot of Bugs, But I Ejoyed It...
(+1)

Tried out the game!

(1 edit) (+2)

It would be insane to charge 1$ for that, i'm gonna be honest. If that wasn't the case, i'd be nicer but it's pretty rubbish. Not only does it have a lot of bugs and terrible performance. It's also very short and doesn't make any sense.

The Game size is also way too big, for what's inside and the Quality of it.

(+1)(-4)

To be clear, the game is free, I set the sale to last 4 years and even then I will probably put it on sale again, it's only for better recommendation and as for the rest, I appreciate this objective criticism and understand that a lot of people may not like the game, but for me it was an experience to make the game, so I will try to make my next games, games better

(+3)

But cheating the recommendations is not good, that's disingenious, especially if your Game is in this state. People who are young often do stuff like that, but remember that will always be associated with your Developer Name, you are giving yourself a bad rep with that.

If the issues with the Performance and Bugs have to do with Godot, i'd recommend working out the simplest things first without crashing or bugging out. Don't focus on graphics, just build with greyboxes. The Game is walking and clicking things anyways, so the Interactions and Events should work 100% of the Time. And go on from there. Good luck in your future Games.

this game was fun for what I could play it has some bugs still. one even stopped me from finishing the game it do have a fears to fathom vibe to it

Update:

 - Fixed Some Bugs

- Edited Some Objectives

(1 edit) (+1)

For what it was it was not bad. Encountered multiple bugs like the game appearing to freeze when I guess loading events (Which I am on a NVME SSD which the game was running off of, so no drive limitations) and when chopping the log, the find the dog thing didn't work at first, so the game was soft locked until I kept walking towards the log which fixed the game without me having to restart it. Apart from that it's got a decent story behind it. Made a video on it. Thanks for giving me this for free to check out!

I try to launch the game but then secs later it just stop wht is wrong?

(-1)

and it was when you tried to launch it in menu or when you launched the game

Trying to launch the game

(-1)

When i tested it, antivirus sometimes crashed the game maybe try to disable it when you play the game

ok thx hopefully it works

ok I turn/remove my antivirus still not working and my computer can run high games

(1 edit) (-1)

Low FPS Glitch Fixed !

(+1)(-1)

man, how did you manage to make the game so unoptimized, I have an rtx3060 and still get like 30-40fps with occasional freezes.

(1 edit) (-2)

i still don't know why because i optimized it little bit and my rtx 3060 ran like on 50% before it was 100% but fps are still low i'll try to fix it and than i'll upate the game
